Julez Bryant has been named one of America’s Coolest Jewelry
Stores by INSTORE, the magazine for the North American jewelry store owner. The
Solana Beach-based business took second place in the Small Cool division (for
stores with six employees or less).
More than 80 stores took part in the 22nd annual contest
that highlights the best examples of independent jewelry retailers in North
America.
“Every year, we feel privileged to bring our readers the
best of the best in our industry,” said Trace Shelton, INSTORE’s
editor-in-chief. “From its collection of artisanal jewelry designers to its
thoughtful, colorful showroom to the vintage jewelry boxes for engagement ring
client, Julez Bryant certainly qualifies. But a store wouldn’t really fit our
‘cool’ criteria if it weren’t for such aspects as innovative strategy, creative
retail environment and a unique work culture.”

This bespoke Julez Bryant piece was designed & inspired by my recent trip to Botswana, primarily by the people and the land.
These powerful giants, the elephants, have the quiet confidence that moves their families along the Delta. They walk amongst their friends and foes with a grace that reminds us that every creature & human should be treated with dignity & respect.
The human spirit is at the root of all our work. We respect the earth’s natural diamonds and see them as a bridge that connects all of us together. There is an invisible light between the miners, the cutters, the designers and finally to YOU, the collector of this finished piece. We are all “kindred spirits” because of these treasures the earth has provided for us.
